Vision
It is for this reason it is important for us to consider how we:
■ Provide the best circumstance to protect the mental wellbeing of young people
■ Prevent the development/worsening of mental ill health conditions
■ Make the treatment of mental ill health for young people equitable, accessible and timely
Vision: For Sefton to be a place where the mental wellbeing of all of our young people is everyone’s business, from preventing poor mental ill health right through to timely, accessible and equitable
services to better manage young people’s mental health
Priorities
What we want to achieve – a small selection from these need to be approved by/added to by the EHWBB board
■ More children and young people will have good mental health and the resilience to face challenges they will encounter
■ More children and young people with mental health problems will recover
■ More children and young people with mental health problems will have good physical health
■ More children and young people will have a positive experience of care and support
■ Reduce self – harm attendances/admissions
■ Reduce the prevalence of mental ill-health including anxiety, self-harm, low mood and eating disorders
■ Skilled and confident workforce able to promote emotional well-being, respond to emotional distress and mental ill-health
