Final word and Acknowledgements
This website has been an opportunity to hear from experts about why vaccines have been developed and why they are important for protecting the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Sefton.
We have also heard about the inequalities we see in uptake and looked at what we can do to support access and improve uptake of the children’s vaccination programme in Sefton through partnership working.
I would like to thank all of those who have contributed to this website and the work to improve uptake of vaccinations for children and young people.
This includes Sefton Council and Integrated Care Board teams who have supported this work as well as wider partners linked to the Sefton Health Protection Forum.
We would also like to offer a special thank you to Dr Tabith Kavoi, Dr Dan Hungerford and Prof Sally Sheard for their time and input, and to South Sefton Primary Care Network for their case study and ongoing work to improve access to children’s vaccinations.
